There’s something special about time on the water—the way it slows everything down while somehow bringing your family closer together. Through our journey with Freedom Boat Club, that feeling has turned into a full-blown passion for exploring new places, new waters, and new memories together.
What started as simple days on our home lake quickly evolved into something bigger. We realized that boating wasn’t just an activity, it was a gateway to adventure. And that’s where the Reciprocal Program completely changed the game for our family.
Turning Vacations Into Water Adventures
As our love for boating grew, so did our desire to travel. Now, when we plan trips, one question always comes first: “Is there a Freedom Boat Club nearby?”
More often than not, the answer is yes—and that opens the door to an entirely new way to experience a destination. Instead of just visiting a place, we get to explore it from the water.
So far, our journey has taken us across:
- The beautiful coastal and inland marinas of Florida
- The scenic lakes throughout Georgia
- The historic stretches of the Ohio River
- The incredible ports along Michigan’s waterways
Each location offers something unique, but the common thread is simple: we’re together, on the water, chasing the wake.
How the Reciprocal Program Works
One of the best parts? It’s incredibly straightforward.

- Select your destination
- And now you have access to this incredible Google Map from Endless Wake Adventures
- Search for available boats
- Lock in your reservation
Each member can visit reciprocal locations up to four times annually, giving you the flexibility to explore without limits. And with 400+ locations available, the opportunities are endless.
Why It Means So Much to Us
For our family, this isn’t just about boating—it’s about creating experiences our kids will remember forever. It’s early mornings on calm water, laughter echoing across the lake, and discovering new places in a way most people never do.
The Reciprocal Program has allowed us to turn ordinary trips into unforgettable adventures. It’s given us a reason to explore more, try new waters, and build traditions that revolve around being outside, together.
